Sometimes composing an email message then again sending it to someone seems to be a big task for us, so why don't we skip the steps between Sign in and composing a New message. I found this tutorial on Digital Inspiration and want to share with you hope you will like.
Before using this trick you need to set Gmail as your default Email reader. To set Gmail as the default email reader, while signing in to gmail you will see a gray diamond like button on Omni bar near bookmark symbol, click on that and select the option " Use Gmail". Follow the following steps
1) Type mailto: in the Omni bar and hit Enter
2) Then you will be redirected to the email compose field to compose a New email message as shown in the below screenshot
